The speed is generated by the fact that we can extract teeth and immediately place implants and implants are engaged in cortical bones which is the hard bone which everybody has and we need only very small portion of this hard bone to engage this implants.
So, this makes it very fast as we don’t have to wait for bone augmentation, we don’t have to build up bone, we can work with the bone that every patient brings with him/her when they come to the dental practice to replace missing/decayed teeth.
It is very safe as we don’t have to do any bone augmentation, we don’t need to transplant bone from any other part of body, we don’t need bone from animal or artificial bone substitution. We can right away place implants in available bone. Every operation step has its risks, and lesser the operations, lesser the risks. We just have to do one operation where we remove the teeth and put implants, no additional operation for bone augmentation needed.
Post-operative pain is predominantly only due to extraction of teeth and that too only for one or two days but there is no additional pain due to implantation that is why this is painless.
